**July 2011 - Sioux's song "The Law" has won the ArtsWells Festival songwriting contest, which will take Sioux to Wells, B.C. on a scholarship to study with Dave Bidini of the Rheostatics, as well as a performance spot at the ArtsWells Festival ! **

**June 2011 - Sioux Newberry has been selected as a 2011 NXNE Showcase Artist! **
Sioux has been chosen as a FACTOR Grant Recipient 2010.  New full-band EP expected early July 2011.  !!
